Apparently it is not just a rumor. Sure hoping they IMPROVE HPI and add to the line instead of just shutting down the company or turning it into a toy brand...

We shall see. Be kind of lame if HPI went away regardless who bought them out.

Yeah its not a good thing i dont think and will just reduce our options.

Only way to improve is add more models but dont think thats the plan even.

Which any luck HPI will remain intact, and their distribution will be improved. For years we've been saying Traxxas should build a solid axle truck, now they some in their fold.

Combine HPI design with Traxxas reliability and parts support and its a win-win situation. I loved HPI back in the day and i think they lost alot of what they originally had trying to compete with companies like Traxxas. Hopefully now they can go on a more race oriented approach vs trying to compete with a basher market like Traxxas.

Its only HPI Europe........ Hpi Japan, USA, and HB are not included...... Furthermore HPI Japan, USA, and europe are owned by separate companies.
