How much money do you spend per month on RC stuff...?

:laugh Are you kidding me? The last time I put that down in writing the mrs, found it! Following week, I got a phone call to meet her at the Shane Co. (high end Jewelry store) :bang Than last summer I lost my job... just started working last month again... for less money... but I've started up my projects again...

Funny thing is the above story happened when I was asked when my r/c projects would be "done!"

Ill step this up, Ive built, and rebuilt 3 clods now. I kept track of the first one till 800 bucks, I stopped counting after that lol

ill just take the easy way out and blame you guys :tmb ...2 members in particular lol...wont say there names but im preeeeeeeety sure they kno who they are :laugh

finding spare parts is sometimes like a scavenger hunt! "you betta get it before he does" .... cant pass on "good deals" thats wat justifies getting it cause its a good deal!

never thought of looking at another friends more expensive hobby but just the thought of it is already making me feel betta :rock

I'll just tell ya this month... $3.14! I had a set of rims backordered at high priced Tower and they finally gotem, it also kicked in my $20 off coupon so it was worth waiting for.

my problem is i dont have to many friends and i am the one they come to see when they want to feel better about what they spend on thier hobbies. LOL

let me see 43 now, been racing carpet, pulling, outdoor flying heli, and monster trucking since about the age of 16 with the purchase of my first blackfoot. wow thats alot of math! I would have to say it has cost me a few new cars one wife:shk LOL

I have been very lucky in this hobby. I might have 900 bucks in my whole collection of 50+ I got the majority trading. I started out trading stuff that was given to me locally. Even traded a car that was given to me for a brushless e-revo. I traded some used motorcycle tires for a clodzilla 4 which I ended up parting out and trading off for other rcs. In total the this year I spent 196.78 dollars.

in my two years in the hobby i have spent 250 on a king blackfoot in upgrades alone and 450 on a kershaw brushed motor powered e maxx 3905 in upgrades

i don't even want to know how much I spend, I have "the sickness". I spend more then I should. So many trucks to build, so little time/money.
