Got my aluminum rims today! These things are sweet, so light its not even funny. Now im kinda regreeting the foam purchase, I had an idea I would have issues since I have never messed with them and theirs issues with these. May look for a nice 2.0 set of something instead :?

the prolines look good on there, but how do they do offroading? I'm thinking they're more onroad then off.

I think the foam tires will kill your brandy new wheel edges from the ground dings.

Well the prolines might be ok for me and where im driving. I dont have alot of dirt areas to choose from so im on and off the pavement alot but they do say their a multi purpose tire so we will see. Pouring rain here now so I cant test it out. The foams, I just dont know I dont like em so far, the fronts are all messed up and now I will have to find someone to true them cause their not nice and round at all, have a slight slant look to them plus the front are to wide. Might just get some stock rubber for those or if I can something else that will or if anyone has suggestions toss em out there :tmb

for foams we always glued them on then held car or truck over a piece of sandpaper glued to a flat piece of wood with a block to put bumper against and do a ''burnout''

for 4wd you'd have to pull rears to do front, then pull front off to true rears

lol thats pretty ingenious! Max is the foam expert maybe he will take these off my hands:tong
Maybe just get some stock tires for them, their so kool looking I almost hate to run them lol. Price wasnt bad, $30.

Thanks, I got to run it today we had a break in the rain. They work great, thing would bicycle while turning on the street and sometimes lift a front wheel. The parma bump steer eliminators work very well to, it actually drives a straight line now. In the ditch area I run in the tires also did well so all in all im pretty happy with them. Still deciding what to mount on the aluminum rims..

trim those bad boys

chuck up an axle shaft in a drill throw a wheel on and use some coarse sandpaper to take some material off
