I ordered my first brush less motor from a popular hobby company. UPS website shows the package was delivered but I never received it, the UPS notice says they left it at my door. It was not there. Has this ever happened to any one else ? How was it resolved ?

I have had miscues happen. Its really annoying. Last one was to a foreign country. Buyer paid all expenses but it took almost a month longer than USPS quoted me and he got upset. When it finally got there he was more than happy. Last i heard he was extremely pissed at the USPS and was filing a formal complaint.

I have had a few that got lost when i bought something. I understand that things get lost but the USPS and others are just horrible about it.

This is one of the first packages I ever got from Hobby King. The package was soaking wet and had tire marks on it. It was a miracle that everything was actually there, but in a postal tote next to what was left of the package. It arrived in the US looking like this.

Yep I did I won a vintage cox gas VW bug and the package tracked and said it reached my local post office about 5 blocks away from me but the package never got delivered and when tracked it said something like undelivered status unknown.

I was pissed because this was a vintage collectable item...I personally think a worker at the post office seen it mayby with a tear in the box and decided to keep it for himself!:mad

That can definitely happen. I've never lost one coming to me. Had a few that I sent out over the years that allegedly never made it to their destination. Strangely one that was supposedly 'lost' turned up on a certain TamiyaClub member's page a short time later. I always prefer to pickup things at the post office or UPS. I don't like things left at my door, because there's nothing to stop some chucklehead kids from grabbing your stuff...

I to had a set of clod tires on chrome rims shipped up here to Canada that got lost. I have ordered tons of stuff over the years and that's the only thing that ever didn't make it. the guy said he didn't really have the cash to refund me but offered to send me the tires off his truck. I told him to keep them and if they somehow made it back to him to let me know. I never heard from him again. He never actually even responded after I told him not to worry about it. Lol.

I had a $300 order from Tower Hobbies dropped off on my doorstep by UPS only to have it grow legs. UPS covered the replacement and overnight shipping.

Had a issue with towerhobbies one year a package got lost so they sent me a new one, then a unsuspecting ups man shows up about 2 weeks later with a partially muddy package and it was the original package so I got 2, (it was a 92 ford body so was in a bag so it didn't get ruined by the mud!)
