Gymkhana 3.0 PRP Berzerker

Ever since the Ken Block's Gymkhana's have been hitting YouTube I have been a super fan. So what better than to turn my PRP Berzerker into a Gymkhana themed truck. Well the first 2 Gymkhana's had Mr. Block driving a Subuaru and figured that would be hard to replicate in a way. But then came Gymkhana 3.0 (if you dont know what this is, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TshFWSsrn8 ), and Mr. Block was driving a Ford Fiesta. PERFECT I thought, I received a clear F-250 body with the purchase of my RTR Berzerker and found it fitting.

So I went and saw a local painter named Ed from Slipstream Graphics. He works at the hobby shop Just 4 Fun in Lansing, MI. I have been watching his work for a while but never gave him any work. I figured this would be a great little project for him. Ed and myself talked for about an hour one day and we came up with some good ideas. So off my body went and I couldnt wait to get it back.

A couple weeks later it was completed and I went and picked it up. Man, was I impressed. He knocked this one outta the park. I was thrilled to get it all mounted up and show it off at our last race this past Sat. Turns out everyone liked it and I couldnt be happier with it. I cant wait to work with him on some future bodies. If any of you would like his contact info, just send me a pm and I will get you hooked up with him.

The last thing I am gonna do to the truck to finally complete it is paint the rims the same color green as whats on the truck. Then it will match the Ford Fiesta car completely.

That was sweet to see all of the different camera angles on that run. Nice shot of the roof of the Super Dome when he mashed the loud pedal.

First of all, that is an amazing looking truck. I love the rally car paint in Monster Truck form, and the detail under the body. Looks very clean and like it would be extremely fun to drive. It reminded me of something a friend made for one of the online Monster Truck games i race in:

Also, thats the Metrodome, not the Superdome in the Digger video, haha.

Rims finally painted. They turned out nice. A little darker color than I wanted, but it is the same green used on the body. Really sets the truck off. Now to install one of my wheelie bars and this truck should be ready to race on Saturday.
