Ground Pounder fun!

Well this weekend was a blast with my GP and brother's Stampede. We found a local BMX track that seems too small for real bmx and a little narrow for RC but to bash on it and run time trials is great! Sadly (I was having too much fun with my better battery) I didn't shoot anything until I threw a 2200 nimh in it which is deathly slow. The first one is slow and boring - more vids to come when my ezrun system and lipo batts show up!

I think the truck comes a bit underpowered stock, it is huge and feels heavy, especially when I drive that Stampede, but definitely stable.

This vid is a jump we set up - love jumping on to grass for its cush - using shower board and some coolers! Not bad for a Stinger motor and a 3600 nimh pack, says I. :)

Some eye candy, my bro's Stampede was easily jumping 5 feet high and 8 feet long, the GP was a bit lower and shorter but not by much.

After all of that the only thing I broke was a body post - time to order some Duratrax flexy ones! Also - the rear drive shaft pops out of the yoke a lot, so I just put it back in but it's a pain. Does anyone else have issues with that? I will be ordering the gunmetal ones when they are in stock but for now it is lame.

Forget the trucks...look at that background!!!! WOW!!! :shk
Ha! Thanks John, my bro and I were talking about that while at the bmx track, the mountains here in Utah truly are majestic and are a sight to see with the evening sun lighting them up! Glad you like, I always have :)

I may have missed it, but did you change the setup on your shocks, other then perhaps removing the lower o ring seal ? Your truck handles landings quite well :tmb

Yes I ended up replacing them with hpi mt2 shocks and have Hesse braces for support.
