Got some GP questions

I've going back and forth on which truck to get between the GP and the hpi WK,i have a few ? for you all.
How fast is the GP?
Whats a good upgraded brushed motor that will work well with stock ESC?i dont want to go brushless.
What can i do to make the suspension not so stiff,i check many vids and they look so stiff.Unlike the WK king which i think is to loose.
Any info would be great.

In stock form, with the stock motor and esc, The GP not much to write home about as far as speed goes.

Brushed motors, are slowly going the way of the dinosaur, so it would be best if you just went with a brushless motor.
Once you drive it with a brushless motor the 1st time, you will never 2nd guess your decision.
Brushless is worth every penny and then some.
As for softening up the suspension, you can either change to different shocks, set up with lighter oil and springs, or just put lighter oil inside the stock shocks.

Seriously,
Going to brushless is no more expensive than a good brushed ESC and motor. Maybe cheaper though really.

Brushless plus points...
less maintainence
more torque
more speed
more gearing options because of the added torque

minus's
you can break more parts with strong systems
you do need decent batteries
Cannot wipe the stupid smile off your face.


Castles new SC brushles system can be found for around 100 bucks and will wake up your truck
