I have the Mark Huseman edition paintjob and with my own 7 cell matched 4600 this thing FLIES like its got a brushless! Got some blue RPM arms and blue gear cover ordered for it but otherwise bone stock. Ill post pics when I get a chance. Looking forward to spending some time with you guys in here now lol. Nick OP

Congrats! I got one for Christmas myself (My wife is awesome!)

I haven't tried a 7 cell pack yet, mostly 'cause I don't have one. :p

Yea I was gonna say, the flames have a little bit of orange in them, but not enough and theres no green either! I really want one of these suckers, I wished someone on ebay sold the roller minus tranny, Ive got enough of them just sitting on my bench that its driving me nuts!

I was curious about the paintjob too, where did you get it? Did you possibly get it from pepboys or somewhere like that? I see on ebay there is a place selling an amsoil slash that has a body painted up differently then a stock slash aswell.

Type Slash roller on ebay Jim, 2 of em right now for not a bad price... The truck came from John Peoples who was at the WMB 7 race last weekend. I guess he just got it and the AMSoil trucks in. I got this one and Joe Nieman? got the other. Yep, definately no orange or green on this one yet!

I really like that body as well, might get one when they are available separately. Saw one on ebay yesterday a guy was selling pulled from a kit of coarse, the monster body looks pretty kool to.

yea I was thinking about the one for 75, but then I realized, that you truly cannot beat the sticker price for a slash. I mean if you look at the prices of things, if I got the truck they are selling for 75, I still have to add shocks, bearing carriers, c-blocks, driveshafts, axles, pins, and hex's. Then add in wheels and tires, body, and electrics, thats well over 200. I think Im just gonna have to wait it out until I finish oh, 5 projects, then just buy one brand new. Or if I can actually go to the August race, I might just have to splurge before that haha

the waterproof servo and esc are easy to sell off if you buy the whole RTR put in the parts you have if you don't need the waterproofing

Just curious, are the skidplates between the slash and the pede different? And are the rear arms the same length on the slash as they are on the Nitro rustler? I kinda have an extra partial pede roller sitting at my workbench, so if there isnt much of a difference I could probably just get a slash chassis, and use those parts to make it work if so.

front and rear skids----#5837
front body mount---#1914
slash body or equivalent---#5811
