The e-maxx body it too narrow it will look like a ST if you would really like some pics I'll take a few

Its ok. I was just toying with the idea. With all the pics I am seeing, I can't imagine this slash being in the 1/10th scale.

Hey Bill did you drive yours yet?
I just came back in, speed was unimpressive stock but the handling was pretty darn good. Soaked up speedbumps well, sluggish in the grass though. Makes rough surfaces like glass.

Only things I have done is add some preload, a deans battery connector and lean the top of my (Neg camber) rear tires in a little, they were leaning out kinda far, positive camber.

Some serious traction roll on pavement if your wide open. :wnk This is BEGGING for the VXL Bushless, I'm serious, just begging.

I pretty much agree with it all. I have not run on pavement but I dont doubt anything you said. Mine is stock with a 7 cell 4200 venom pack traxxas connectors. I agree the speed did not seem that great. It is alot faster on dirt though if you let it wind up a little. I have changed the shock oil to 55 and am thinking about going thicker. I think I would like some stiffer springs but I might leave it alone untill thursday when I can hit the track against a e-maxx and a few VXL trucks to see how it really does. I think it might be harder to judge the speed do to it large size. It does look and handle scalish. I was running full speed runs through the fress planted hay feild and it soaked up everything. I'll keep you posted.

I'm on a 6 cell so you were going faster than mine. ESC didn't overheat in the grass, surprised since it was over 94 and humid and I was pushing it to see if it would.

Overall, fun truck. Just needs more go power. :burn

I am hoping for a good turnout at the track tomorrow so I can truely test the slash against a e-maxx, all the vxl's. I am running a cheap 7 cell venom and stock gearing.

I am about 4 hours south of you in the saratoga area; (that is a guesstimate because it seemed like that long when i went up to see where my father grew up) .lol. I traveled to the hobby shop in Rutland but their track was closed down:-(; I did however buy some cool stuff i couldnt find around me...lol. I run my rustlers with foam tires on the carpet oval in Glens Falls; as well as my other pan cars and a couple electric 4-tecs. I took my brushless Rustler there a few times; its amazing to hear the wheel hop when it loses traction just rolling on the throttle with a 6-cell.:burn I have a 11.1 LiPo but that would be insane in an enclosed area LOL.

From albany exit 4 is under 2.5 hours. ran the slash against the vxl bandit, stampede, and rustler. On our small tight track I had no problems turning better laps do to the lower power of the brushed motor. The track is very loose. The 7 cell battery was pretty good for run time I thought. Speed does seem ok on the track not fast but not slow. The suspension seems ok with the 55 oil so far.

LOL I know it wasnt as long as i remember; was just kidding with ya; i was young and everything seemed to take an eternity to get from point A to B. Anyways; do you have an address for the hobby shop/racetrack? i would like to come up and see you guys run; and maybe bring one of my trucks if you don't mind.
