Good replacement 2 speed trans for txt-1

After just one Rip with my all alloy TXT-1, we managed to destroy the stock trans, loosened most the grub screw on the drive train, pop a upper dif gear and even managed to break one gen II Puisher shaft

So what a good trans to drop in to overkill build, are the aftermaket axial 2 speed's any good for a MT. All I can see is ssd and super shafty, SS seems to always be out of stock.

I really want a all metal trans and and dont want to use a traxxas unit with all the plastic gears ....

My two new revo shafts is more than enough traxxas parts for me :rolleyes

Would the 4.9:1 and 1.8:1 on a 2 speed even work ok? I gess with the 15/13 32p spurs it is still lower than stock 7:1???

The punisher shafts helped that disaster.

Revo shafts

Tape the two chassis plates together.

Get a freestyle RC trans with two bars.

Drill one center hole tthrough both taped chassis plates.

You now have a drop in 6s trans and shafts.

The axles will never take that pain but on 2-3s your trans and shafts are bullet proof looks nice cuts out t the two motor nonsense etc.
