It could go lower but you would have to really cut the body for the articulation. Thanks for the comments on the paint job. I was looking at buying a custom painted one off Ebay but the more I looked at them I couldn't see that much work in them for the price. I think it turned out pretty good.

I did an experiment. I changed the lower links to standard style links and mounted them on the upper part of the axle as is the trend with Clod axles. I thought maybe I would get more clearance or something but I couldn't tell a difference while driving so I'm changing back to the stock links cuz they look so much cooler :p

Tried it like this:

Went back to this:

i'm trying to get my grubby hands on a dragoon.
can you measure the back spacing of your wheels?
incase you dont know wath that is, its the space between the inner edge of the wheel and where it mount against the hex adaptor.

Yeah I'll check it out for you...

On the JunFac and Gmade web sites they say "Offset - 32mm (1.25")" but I will measure mine to make sure...

I just measured 1.5". JunFac and Gmade both say 1.5" but then when you read the bottom of the Gmade page it says 1.25"...

I just measured 1.5" though, not counting the depth of the hex area.

hey, has any one used these tires in soft dirt?
do they grip well?
and how about grass?
cuz there's no rocks here :ack

Oh you mean for the Dragoon? Sure. I run these wheels and tires on my Clodzilla a lot of the time.

They grip better than stock Clod tires for sure. Softer (conform to stuff better), nastier tread pattern helps too...

I like the A LOT for bashing. In fact, these are my FAVORITE bashing tire ever.

I also think they look hella cool!

Here is a pic I found comparing the GMade wheel axles (spider and dragoon) to Tamiya Clod wheel axles. Clod on top, Gmade on bottom.

to mount clod wheels on a gmade, do you need anything else then clod wheels and tires?
is there other stuff needed?

You need the Clod wheel disc. It's that round piece with 5 holes in it. You know which part I mean?
