gmade internal spring shocks

Does anyone have experience with these in a runner? My "new" clod project is underway, and I'm trying to decide on shocks. I'm de-modding one of my eBay scores into a stock chassis semi scale old school ride. I'm looking at the gmade shocks cause I'm anxious to run 2 shocks per wheel without it being overly bouncy. I'm thinking I should be able to run one shock without springs to keep the look without it being too stiff.

I have a puller Clod with these ...

And a scale MT Clod with these ...

It seems like even with the same springs the TS01s are a good bit stiffer (and are fine on the puller, as I mostly wanted them for looks anyway) ... I have the hard springs in them, since I only want a very minimal abount of give.

With the soft springs the TS02s are very soft (even at 2 x wheel). I don't bash the truck (or really even run it that hard), but if I did they'd likely be too soft the way I have them and bottom out on the harder landings ... but for how I'm driving it, I really like the way the truck drives with them. So maybe one hard and one soft spring per corner would give you a better balance.

As they say, your mileage may varry ... but for my purposes I like them ... and I think they would probably work fine for what you want. They look good and seem to be built decent ... though I think not suited to race Clods at all, since there's not a lot of adjustments you can make.

Thanks. I have no intention of racing this truck. My rc4wd order came in today, along with my eBay chassis. I'll b e starting on the truck tonight or tomorrow.

New goodies today. Chassis brace off eBay and scale shocks from rc4wd. Using my spring tension tester (my hand) I think these guys are soft enough that running 2 per wheel will be no problemo
