Glueing tires. Whats best to you?

I am preparing to glue a few sets of tires (I like beadlocks but they are to heavy.... Plus I cannot seem to find beadlocks with a 23mm hub AND not 40 series. If you know of some lemme know! Thanx!) I have cleaned tires and rims before with alcohol (and even scrubbed them before with shampoo. Sounds funny but shampoo cuts grease and etc.) to remove the mold release agent but am looking for any tricks/tips to help make this the strongest bond I can as these are gonna be run HARD on a heavy truck (Losi LST with Fine Design brushless conversion). I am thinking of a little roughing up of the tires beads and the rims bead area. Then I get to clean them again.... : / I know to remove chrome from the bead of chromed rims but these are Proline velocity rims all round and Proline paddles for the rear and Imex Ribs for the front. Gonna be using Losi tire glue as I have not found anything better to date. Thanx Bill

I like medium CA glue

However, you might want to try a silicone glue

I like to use the thin CA...gotta be careful cause it runs like water but as long as you get it in the bead of the rim and seat the tire, it doesn't come off.

But I want beadlocks!

proline makes a 23mm reg maxx velocity wheel.

I have those here ( the 23mm reg maxx velocity wheels.) Thats what I am gluing. I just wish they made them in reg size with beadlocks. All the beadlocks are the 40 series with the fancy design for rock crawlers. I would love to have some beadlocks for the Maxx size tires like the old Losi's used to be! Lightweight and four screws. These would be a little bigger and heavier of course but still six screws and a shade heavyier than Velocitys. I would buyem and buyem. Thanx Bill
