I was a member here back around 2001-02.I don't even remember what my screen name was.I guess old age will do that to you.I wasn't much of a talker, but i sure learned a lot about building Clods from everyone here.I had several aftermarket chassis Clods, but soon started fabricating my own crawler chassis for my own use.Soon i was building Clods for neighborhood people, father's and sons alike. My best friend and fellow Clodbuster partner in crime passed away in '03 and my collection languished in storage. Most were sold or given away.I kept three shelf queens though, and after digging them out of storage last year they again got shuffled aside in favor of my other hobby,my '91 Z28.I just so happened to run across some old pics of past long gone Clods and thought of this place!I am very happy to see it still exists and seems to be doing well.I haven't looked around too much yet,but the hobby has changed quite a bit.Seems Clods aren't as popular as before.Oh well...Clods are the reason i got into the hobby to start with and it seems they are the reason for my return.Hope i can contribute some and i'm sure i'll learn a lot...again!I have old school trucks for sure.Big and heavy, but fun!One of my trucks was inspired by an old member named Thorbob.Unfortunately it was never completed. One is a Zilla IV chassis Clod, the last that i have left is basically stock.Clod body on a Bullhead chassis.I can't seem to recall too many names of old member's though. One that sticks in my head because i'm a Van Halen fan is Locoboy5150.See ya around the forum.
