getting imex jumbo kongs on Clod

I have a Emaxx running Jumbo Kongs I would like to run them on the clod

I need to know what adapters I need (1 inch spacers) tried to call Thundertech but no answer or return phone call....

has anyone tried this?

From the thread it looks like his clod with the kongs and it looks a bit narrow we need CPE to make more one inch 14mm adapters


please Brett if your reading this we need more adapters !!!!!:wish

He does not have the adapters yet. He was looking for the same thing you are...Those RC4WD ones will widen your truck at each wheel by 3/4"s...It's not one inch but close...

I think Brett said he would has in stock on the 11th of this month...

Very cool idea!

Ive wanted to do the same thing, and ended up with a set of Imex Jumbo Maxx instead. Smaller than the Kongs, but much wider than the stock Clod's. It looks good, but yours is gonna be MASSIVE!!!

Hi guys, I'm getting the 12mm-14mm adapters/wideners.These are the emaxx rim swampers.Brett has a set on its way to me now.3/4 inch,should give me plenty of lower link clearance and the stance will look alot better.

Just ordered my 12mm to 14mm spacer adapters from rc4wd should have em in a week or so :pics will follow....


My e maxx blew the motors running the jumbo kongs due to the gearing anyone have any info if the same will happen on the clod running the same motors.... its geared different....???
