Front Skid

Folks

Does anyone have any ideas of a front skid plate?? I moved my steering links (change my servo location) to the front of axle like a 1:1 would come. I was on the bay looking at TLT listing when I came across this one for the TLT.

Looks pretty cool but just don't know if it would work on the High Lift's front axle. I think one could be made fairly easy just have to find time to do the work:-(

it will bolt right up using the leaf bolts, you might need to grind a little at the bottom or back edge.

I have one on a tlt axle, they are real nice for 15 bucks. Putting it on a high lift should be easy with at most a minor grinding or filing to back edge.

Yeah $21.50 ($15.00 plus $6.50 s&h) isn't bad, the only thing that looks like may stop it from working is the HL pumkin sits to the left side a little more than the TLT. I'll have to line up the TLT axle with the HL and see if it'll work.

they sell those seperate too, much nicer to look at and work with than the stamped steel tlt ones, but pricey.

I only put them on that one tlt axled truck

Well I bought the skid, we'll see how well it works once it gets here!!
