Freestyle RC transmission

Cool, thinking about picking one up for a future project while they are on discount

Looks great. Only thing is that I would be a bit worried about the vertical motor mounts allowing the can to slide down on hard impact/bottom out landings. Probably won't be an issue if using typical sized 540 motors but a big brushless can hanging off there might cause a problem.

I would like to see a motor support of some kind incorporated into it..but very nice design and tough looking either way!

There is a few people running these on the Facebook book group and I know Matt (knuckles) is running a big 2650kv in his truck without any problems.

I'm waiting on mine and I'll be running a 2200kv in mine.

I have my order in and going to try to get one in a crazy txt project i am about to start.

I dont think sliding will be a issue as the pinion resting on the gear will take most that down force weight and be fine.
