I had a set of AJ's foam clod tires way back. Man, bet they'd be set for a fortune on e-pay nowadays if you wanted them.

I think Mike L had one of the splash trucks, a red or orange one. I don't know if he still has it he's been doing the crawl/scale scene on RCC.

I have a fresh set of AJ's here on some See's wheels. They are sweet!

Yeah, the wheels were in bad shape when my buddy bought them.. but he did a masterful job refinishing them. When I got the AJ's they were on some BEAT crp wheels, so I combined them for super rarity status haha.

Getting back to Brians trucks, do you have any pictures of your Awesome Kong with the Cepek's on it? That was always one of my faves.

Talf....

Cool...I've actually never seen any of the Worlds videos. David Gatheright did an interview with me around 2002? at the Worlds, that was when I first started doing customer work.

Were those rims proven weak,
with all that slot for the air to leave??

And is that function, or just looks??

Mo...

Mo....this is the only time I ran these tires, Monster Jam 5. This was also the old body and chassis.

This was the second set I cut.....MJ 6. Both sets worked good on the Avenue carpet.

Another set.....

Mo...maybe these are what you mean....not the best picture but these were cut like Cepek's. Tweaked Tad did a set of Cepek's before these....

Those awesome kong rims were something to watch. The truck would land and the tire absorbed alot of the weight as the sidewalls flattened. When Brian left the line the tire wrinkled a bit and appeared to help with traction on the carpet like a top fuel car.

I think there is footage on Etzler's videos he made. I will see if I can dig it up.

Wow, Brian, what a time warp to see those pics you posted. Your trucks took me back several years in an instant. It's really cool to see them all again even if some are no longer yours.

I *really* hope you can make it back to the NRCTPA events again. We miss having you there. We need to get the good guys back into racing.
