Having had to rely on these things to do much more than they were designed to do, and having had occasional failures at inopportune moments, I could so totally get into urging RPM to make their own version! That would so totally ROCK!:drum

if rpm made them, they would be awesome.

i have always bought the cheapest zip ties i could find, and have never broken anything cause one failed. but then i never used one like it was duct tape.

now i would like to have some of those old kyosho reusable ones with the little tab to release the grip.

It is a funny thread. Amazing that sometimes a goof thread actually brings in more participation.

ya never know with rcca. they did run that full page trinity ad bashing brushless.

i guess the zip ties are marketed towards the "i get all my work done at my local hobby shop" crowd.

seriously, those zip ties are no stupider than the rubber testicles, spinners, or (insert lame accessory here).

hahhahaa these got me to laugh soo hard!:laugh

I'll wait for the 'Factory Team' edition.

Yep, blue-anodized aluminum zipties FTW!

Already put my zip-ties on ebay with no reserve. Now waiting for the Traxxas version that already come zip-tied =P

I hope there wont be any debate about which is better for the hobby...non-zip zipped ties or pre-zipped ties (kinda kit vs. RTR).

2.4ghz zip-ties need binding before you can run them

a lot of people could save a lot of money by shopping around. i have a heavy base with the two alligator clips on adjustable arms (for soldering). got it at big lots for $4. tower was selling it at the same time for $12. i don't buy any hobby parts from hobby shops or stores except thin things i can't get anywhere else.

I may be new to this whole RC thing, but that was just a hilarious read. So good. I especially like the "Product Review" on page four of the thread.
