I was running on pavement today with a fresh 4200 mah battery,third gear does not seem that fast but I turned sudden and over she went. broke drivers mirror and a few minor sratches. watch out in third gear! :banghead

been there done that... also watch out for steep rocks... and super glue is your mirror's best friend.

I need to find some thin velcro so I can remove the mirrors when I know I might roll

Don't think he posts here but Dremelit from S4x4 posted a fix for the mirrors. Cut the stems ans reattach with heat shrink tubing.

i just hold my mirrors on with a tiny piece of servo tape. when i take it out to run i just pull them off since i know ill be running it hard. i have been beating the crap out of it up at the park by my house and its shown no signs of breakage yet


you think yours is unstable, try turning at full speed with a 17 turn motor :ack . this thing cooks!

tier Id love to see that thing go with that 17 turn motor,I read where the hot motors are kinda useless in the high lift,but I guess notif yours cooks.

it will never be a racer, but I have a new sapphire just beggin me to install it in my high lift

I read on another forum that modified motors dont do much because of the gearing,but I want to see if I can get more out of it also.All I have on hand is a 540 black motor sport tuned nib and a magnetic mayhem with reverse,think any of these would be better than the stock motor?

if your mag mayhem says reverse you cant use it. they're timed so if you tried to use it it would run backward and overheat

I actually have both but the other is of course forward only,what about the black motor ?Any better than stock?
