F-350 Front brush guard question

Thinking about getting a F350 Highlift..... Question... That brush guard or whatever it's called on the front of the truck, I'm not crazy about it. Is that something that you can leave off? I figured you could, but looks like everyone keeps them on?

sure you can leave it off but you run the risk of smashing the front of the body if you hit something

That's a darn good point Jim, LOL! :willy I just have never liked the look of that thing, but maybe it looks better in person?

There are a lot of different mods people have been doing and there are a number of aftermarket guards you can get.

The problem without a bumper/brush bar is the body will take all the impact. At least with it, or something like Twisted did the frame gets the impact

I have just ordered the Junfac brush guard for my HiLift looks pretty sweet by the pics.

the Junfac isn't bad, does attatch to the frame so it's able to protect the body but the Juggster brush guard looks the best. Kevin Good did an awesome job designing, and producing it.

Here is the one I bought and installed, now owned by KJR2

My Junfac brushguard and diff covers arrived today. Gonna see if its possible to cut down the bars to narrow them a tad. Other than that, its a great quality product as are the diff covers.
I tried the Juggster guard from RC4WD but again (as per my past purchases) the quality sucked :bang
