this is going to be a FUN truck
I need to get softer front springs, and paint the links and put body posts on for the body but I did test drive it quickly today and like what I saw.

There has been some upgrades already, but I know I'll end up needing to upgrade the trans gears to metal with a castle 4600kv motor in such a light truck.

Loads of custom on this since I think it's one of the first if not the first wraith as a full blown monster truck.

EQR wheels keeping it narrower on RC4WD aluminum axle cases. Diffs in both axles.

Man Will, that thing looks great:cool

I like how you got the battery nice and low along with the tranny and motor.

Are the Wraith axles wider then the WK?.......from the pic's they sure don't look like they are.

RC4WD aluminum axle cases should hold up well, nice and beefy. I may get the aluminum axle trusses later on but these plastic ones will do for now.

From the picture above the Wraith Pounder doesn't look that much wider.

Are you just using a zip tie to hold the battery in place? Also what servo mount is that on the Wheely Pounders axle?

no, with these wheels it is the same width

zips for now inside and outside of each frame plate till I finish my retainer idea.
that isn't a wheely king axle, it's a rare hard to find RC4WD aX10 aluminum axle widened by 1''

will, have you thought about using velcro straps from axial to hold the battery? it could kinda stay with the axial theme of the truck and gives you mounting options since they are adjustable for every type of battery you can think of....
i think i got mine on tower for like $11 a pop.

i really like the look of the usa 1 body on it, sets it off nicely.
