took the truck out since I thought you should all have an update on the mods I've been putting into this truck.

front wideners, custom made brush guard, blue LED headlights controled via servo board, and juggernaut drive shafts

and I finally lowered the front body mounts and mounted the front bumper

as usual dial up is slow, more comeing in the next few minutes

If you've been watching Ebay...they are going for a little less $$ lately. I picked up two for around 300.00 each last month and watched a B Blazer go for 405.00, I hate that I missed that one. :(

I got my first one in pretty nice shape chassis only for just under $400 and this one in a little rougher shape for just over $350... I dont like paying too much for bruisers

nice
check the FAQ and do the front axle kingpin shim mod, it costs you nothing and the front wheels will be in better alignment.

it's already shimmed, I just need to sit down and mod it a little further, but I want to replace the front case since the previous owner decided to hack into it with a dremel

:ack ahhhh dremeled!
was it powdercoated or plated?

I have my blazer axles chromed and hand to sand the chrome in the ball area to steer well, but the pins were left untouched. The chrome process helped there.

That was my first Bruiser. I thought it was an odd design, but didn't know any better. I did not cut it.

if you didnt cut it then how did the cuts get there? another previous owner?

this bruiser might have more history than my Columbine bruiser

you know
I'll bet somebody cut it because they bent the housings

by cutting it they could keep it straight by just the inner shaft strength.

Not the greatest idea, but......
