Not sure if it was a company, but Eric Beach (Racing) made the tuber. I also don't think he had a website.

That would be an Eric Beach Racing chassis... old school for sure.

Not really known for being built very straight or true but they run well when setup properly.

I'll take some pictures of mine for you to look at. I just bought another chassis from Eric to build. Any particular information or pictures you want?

I highly doubt it. The vertical spacing between the upper and lower links would most likely run the upper links right into the gearcase/motor. Those tube chassis were laid out the way stangnomore has them pictured.

You might be able to use the body mount locations for the upper links and then run them to our style 4-link mount.

Thanks? I'm trying to gather some parts for it so when the frame is delivered I can start the build. I guess I will get a better Idea of how to set it up once the chassis arrives. Thank you for all your help:tmb

You top links mount the the top of the C-Hub, where the axle brace mounts andthe lower link mount to the bottom of the C-hub (you will need to drill a hole). Do you want pictures showing this?

If you are going with a rear steer lockout, I would suggest CPE's machined lockout. Not only will it lock the rear steer, but it makes a good drilling template!

I was looking at those. I have two CPE chassis with the New Era lockout, but those CPE ones look beefy and it eleminates the need for links in the rear.

Any Ideas on what shocks I can use. I was chatting with Eric and he said that the Losi xx shocks and the Losi .6 shocks work well but I am having difficulty finding them. Are there any alternatives to the losi shocks. Will the T-maxx work? Thanks!!:tmb

Looked around and the shocks from the Traxxas Stampede are the same length as the Losi ones I mentioned earlier and are more more easier to find than the Losi shocks.

Hey Stangnomore, What kind of shocks are you using. I have the stampede shocks and the shorter ones will only work on the front, but I am not sure about the rod end. the hole is too small and will not fit over the ball. The longer stampede shocks are too long to use. Thanks. I think the shocks are going to be the most difficult part about this build.

I have losi shocks that came with a different truck. The rod ends need to accept the 1/4" ball. You could change the rod end on your stampede shocks to dubro or rocket city, they use 1/4" ball. Or you could use Associated shocks, probably the 1.02" shocks, they may make shorter ones. Basically your are looking for a shock 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" from center of eye to center of eye.
