Getting my parts little by little to "hopefully" get my Bullhead up, and running once and for all....My question is, whats the easiest way to pop the steering rod off the ball ends??? Don't really want to mar them up with tools...suggestions????

you could take the knuckle off and then just rotate it to pop em off.

I don't know of any way to do that. I use needle nose pliers but like you said they get mared up. If I was you if you can I'd just get some rod ends and go to the hard ware store and just make some aluminum steering links. I have made like 4 set this year and a bunch of suspension links to make 4 link for my clod and my kids clods.

Just grab the flat sides of the portion where the link threads in with some pliers and rotate them till they pop off. Same goes for any snap on ball end.

Thanks guys! I've done it a few times already, but I hate that they get a little marred up with pliers...Last time I taped up the jaws and that was a little better, just thought I'd put it out there...Thanks again!!
