Dual sensorless motors from one ESC?

I have seen several dual motor/dual ESC setups in Clods as well as other dual-motor applications. My question is why can't you just get a higher-powered esc and paralel the two motors?

The EZ Run brushless setups are sensorless, and the 35amp esc will run at room temp all day on the 13 turn motor. Why wouldn't it work to get the 65amp ESC and just "Y" each of the three motor wires to drive dual 13t(3000kv) motors?

Neil,
Sensorless is not exactly a correct name. Even the sensorless setups sense feedback through the 3 wires to know where the rotor position is. So if you put 2 motors on 1 ESC the ESC could not put out the right power pulse to turn both motors correctly.
