Dual Sensored Systems in a Clod?

Does anybdy use dual sensored systems in their Clods such as the Tekin sensored systems? I was thinking of giving it a try. I heard that there might be an issue running dual sensored systems.

I have heard its tricky to get them to run together. I have no first hand experience with them to say what issues there may be though.

I just can never imagine sinking that much cash into ESC's and motors for a clod when the cheap stuff does just fine in them. After all, they are still clods at the end of the day.. not the precision racing vehicles sensored setups are tailored for :D

yup tekin and castle are just the nike shoe name anymore there is better for way less now.

guy's are burning up there tekins and castle esc and going over to the hobbywing 120a-150a and the lt4's and running the same setup their not even getting warm where the big brand burned up and they state after seeing the difference there never going back to either of them big buck company's.

there still great stuff dont get me wrong just not great when compared to others and their pricing for something even larger.

if you were going to go sensored with a clod I would try two lt4's 120A at $134.00 shipped for both.

plus you dont need a bec and it comes with a progammer wich the big comany's above charge extra for each and the lt4 bec actually works where castle's does not at 1a wich is pretty sad becuase that only does the reciever pretty much hahaha.

It was my understanding that you can't reverse the rotation of sensored motors. Maybe I'm misinforomed on that and someone who is more up to date on electronics can chime in. If I am right you could always flip the rear gearbox so the motor is out back and both would spin the same way.

You cant reverse them with the non sensored method of switching wires around. The ESC needs to have the ability to reverse the motors direction on its own, which the Tekin/Castle units can do.

I am running dual 30a hobbywing esc's with sensored 6900kv hobbywing motors. I ran a y harness to both and have them on 2s lipos. Haven't had any problems except keeping it right side up.

the hobbywing ezrun & xerun esc's can also change motor rotatian along with all the other settings without a pc using their $7 program card so everything can be tuned in the feild still.
