You shouldn't have to worry if you have throttle discipline. Like Chad said, when landing jumps, don't get back on the throttle until the wheels have hit the ground.

Now, it doesn't hurt to keep spare gears because eventually, you will kill them but it isn't a constant occurrence.

The Bradenville style races we do aren't hard on gears. Now, on the other hand, if you do the NRCTPA racing like some of us do, depending on how aggressive you are, you will rip gears up there.

here she is...
i did a quick beater body using some colors a customer wants on a body. i hadnt ever used the gold and blue together so i just threw this one together to see how they worked.
almost all my bodies end up being a test for a customers body.:ack

i am gonna try to find time to do a quality painted body for myself this month unless i get busy like i did last year.

thanks. it was supposed to have another section of marble between the blue and gold but screwed up the mask with my big fat fingers. since it was just a color test body i sprayed it without that section.:tong

I was using two of my 2s mini revo batteries at the finals.

So a single battery will work for two Sidwinders?

Way back in the day, I ran dual mamba max 7,700 in my clod on One 7.4 orion lipo- 4,800mah.
13-15 minute run time.

Yes One battery is more than enough.
The newer batteries have way more kick, and C rating than 3-4 years ago.

One large capacity Batt will work fine, but IDK about the mini revo sized packs, one might be a little undersized for the draw it'd endure
