Yup; right there with ya Brian!! Kicking myself in the butt for not taking the Chevy II in trade for my firebird when the kid offered it to me. Rather took the money I told him. That sucker would fly compared to my Caballero!! Bet I got atleat 1000 to 1500lbs on those cars :bang

Good news is the fiancee wants to drag the Caballero next year so I have a winter/spring project to keep me busy

I officially don't like you now, Jerry. I could never afford to build a car, so I just went faster on two wheels, but usually the first 300 where on 1. Drove a 09' shelby last nite.... didn't really surprise me, had a decent 1.519 60 foot. 10.319 @ 146ish. Broke the tires loose at 1000ft topping 4th.

I want to get back into the scene so bad but the R/C thing kinda holds me over for now. A 3 year old and a 7 month old got me out of it for a while but I will have another some day. Wish I could track down my old 93 Mustang coupe and get it back. Hence the user name 93-306.

Drag Week and the Pump Gas Drags are some of the best best automotive events thoughout the year. Gotta love the "no trailer queens" aspect of it and the drama it causes- like Denny Terzich's Camaro that ran in the 7s, and everybody screamed that it wasn't a street car...
