Dirt Demons RC, Omaha NE. is having an ENTRY LEVEL racing league starting Janurary 12th 2014. This is a fun league, designed to combat the RC withdrawls over the long, cold Nebraska winters. ALL participants must compete with a Turnigy 1/16th scale brushless buggy, and the limited rules are as follows:
1. Racers may change only wheels/tires, and body. They may be changed to drivers preference and style. ALL vehicles must compete with only 4 wheels and tires at time of race, buggy MUST have an intact and attached body at the time of competition.
2. Suspensions can be adjusted only, ALL drivers must use OEM shocks/springs at time of competition.
3. 2S LiPo max.
4. Any and all broken parts are to be replaced/repaired with factory replacement OE parts, with the exception of the wheels/tires, and body.
5. Have FUN! Build memories, thats what we are all about.
Thats it! EASY right? Courses are single competitor, auto-cross style. Drivers are allowed 2 heats, times are averaged. Point system is inverted (i.e. 10 drivers first place is 10 pts, tenth place is 1 pt.) We race twice a month on Sunday (with the exception of Easter). Doors open at 1pm, racing starts at 2.
