CVDs. What's the deal?

What's the deal with the CVDs? MIP used to make some then quit making them? I snapped another rear shaft just now and wouldn't mind getting something that will last instead of buying stock shafts over and over. They aren't cheap to begin with and they way I'm going through em I need a hop-up option.

Does RC4WD make something? Maybe I could get the RC4wd striaght shafts since I don't use rear-wheel steering anyway. Are those heavy duty enough to bash hard?

Thanks but I can't do it bill. I don't doubt that that's a good deal you always let tour stuff go cheap (I can't believe nobody bought tour max D yet for $215) but my clod project got out of hand quickly and the wife is starting to complain.

It take some smooth talking to get the straight axle setup at this point.
