Custom decals on lexan

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of making some custom graphics for my lexan truck body. It will mostly consist of logos on the doors and on the hood. Is there a way to print the graphics onto something, apply them to the inside of the body and then paint over them? It seems like I've read about a way to glue things to the insdie of the body, but I can't remember the whole proceedure. Let me know what my options are.

Thanks,

Yama

Looks like the stuff I would need.

How about the paper I use to print the image on? Is there any special stuff for that? What works the best for printing my own images?

you can actualy buy decal ''paper'' then after printing you clearcoat it with spray paint. Testors makes a kit, but Bell decal paper and krylon crystal clear spraypaint worked for me.

The bell paper comes in white or clear. Since your inkjet printer doesn't have white ink you might want the white.

Is the clear paint just for keeping the glue from soaking into the printed artwork?
