here is the new frame i built out of aluminum. After all the cutting and drilling i sanded and polished the frame to an almost mirror finish. This is my first try at building a frame from scratch .The w/b is 12.5" the frame is 14.5" long,2.5" wide, multiple shock holes allow for many different set ups, high up mud boggin or low for crawling. The w/k body is a bit short i plan on getting a new body lookin for some idea's ?

hmmm, a maxx size type body should fit nicely. That would look good with the new proline fake scout or fj40 lids.

Nice work esp for first frame. I think it came out great :tmb

Thanks William.I used a street sign for my build it was easy to work with I cut it using a table saw and had to peel off the letters and what not using a steady hand and a razor blade it was a "Drive Slow Children"sign black letters yellow background got it at a second hand store.I am already thinking of building a second frame i plan on laying the tranny on it's side and clocking the motor 90 deg.to get a lower cg i'm thinking tuber.Would brass tube or 3/16 brake line be stronger?

Laying the tranny over on its side is an idea I have been toying with as well. Trannies can be moved around pretty easily. The TXT was a great example of it when we flipped it and reversed it. It turned a slug of a truck (racing) into a bonafied racer.
