CORR rules at the worlds.

Downriver R/C has decided to sponsor the Invitational this Worlds. Here is what they are looking at for CORR trucks.

CORR Truck Rules

Must be 2WD
Can use any speedo and motor (brushed or brushless)
Can use any manufacturer CORR 10th scale vehicle
Can use any aftermarket chassis
No handmade/homemade parts
Must maintain stock wheel base for the truck
Must maintain stock width for the truck
Must use CORR truck body
Can use any aftermarket CORR truck body
Wheels and tires must be inside body
Must use CORR tires and rims (2.0/3.0 or 2.0/2.0 (no 1/8th scale wheels/tires allowed).
Can only use NRCTPA approved 2s 7.4v lipo or 6cell nicd/nimh

Would converted 4wd's be legal? Just thinking about the new HPI mini truck? Wouldn't do it myself but I'm sure someone is thinking it.

I asked them if 4WD were legal, they said, no. They want to keep it 2WD. IF someone wants to take out a front drive shafts etc to make it 2WD..I would have to ask.

Downriver R/C said, if the front axle is disabled (shafts removed) then the 4WD would be allowed to run.

Ive seen the new HPI truck, if the front center shaft is removed, it would be allowed.
