cool traxxas summit video

I recently got one because it was a smokin good deal(most of the Hawaii guys know) but haven't really run it yet. It has a Mamba Monster Max w/2650kv motor in it. The one time I ran it with NiMHs I jumped it off my ten eighty ramps at about 3/4 speed and she flew. It weighs a ton so i never figured it'd fly like that! I want to take it apart and check things out before I go full bore on her. Kinda always wanted one but never thought I'd get one because they cost so much.

LOL! It was purely by chance I ended up with it. I've had it maybe a few weeks now. But here's some pics for you Joe.:tmb Not much to look at, mostly stock except for the MMM/2650. I also got a Traxxas 2.4ghz 4 channel from Dougie I've been using in my Ground Pounder that will now go into this. I wish it had the light kit and the beadlock rings but I really can't complain.

it's too bad they are so expensive.
I like a lot about them, but I just couldn't see buying one. I think that might be the first one posted on here? Maybe if there were a few around it might seem more affordable. But if it's rare one wonders why and is afraid to spend money on it.

The Savage Flux is a bit more, but proven and a popular chassis you know has support from HPI and tons of aftermarket.

I've got a few Summit trannies, but it's like like Will said. As much as I like what it has to offer, it's just too expensive.

i believe it is, thats why i made the "call out".
i searched the forum and couldnt find anything.
the closest i found was a few people with the trannys, like Supreme.

but yeah, i agree. it looks cool , but so darn much money.

With the way those Flux's look with the 1/5 scale conversion there is no way I would buy a Summit, my money would be going into one of those Flux kits. Those look so sweet stretched out.

But that first video with the drivers hand controlling the servos is just too cool. The way the little guy steers the wheel is really sweet.
