The Traxtor tire is not cut it has a small bar and look like a firestone 2000 tire with is what real pullers use.

From what I remember the tire in question is different in size and has more weight then a stock Clod tire, not much but it could make a difference.
Yes Terry it's going to be a cut tire with a non cut tire in the same class. There has never been any wording that covers cutting of tires and how or who cuts them. Its a factory tire that has not been modified. Reviewing the book I see no wording saying it can't be used.
Again it's a factory shaped tire.

I remember the intent was to allow them in the dirt class only. The board has made a call to allow them on both carpet & dirt so it will be a good test for the tire.

I think in the end they will find the RCMT tire is a little to soft for carpet pulling and the stock tire will win the class.

being as soft as it is it may only have an advantage the first time out.... if at all....... IHMO........ but we are re-looking into it..........
spoke with Glen he will try and get a pair and run them on the sme tractor back to back with the kyosho tire to see if there is any benefit....stepping back and looking at this they started with clod tires and found kyoshos were better everybody runs those now.... a new tire is here maybe they will be better..... as time goes on we put new and better equipment on the tractors motors, batteries and now tires ......are they really the most important part? well, if you don't get ahold of the track you loose fer sure if you got a weak motor you loose for sure same with batteries......I guess the total package wins .......still talking about this.....

Hey Guys,
I know we have to go on to what we can get was the same with brushless motors you cant buy a good brushed motor anymore.....I just sold a truck load of rc trucks and parts to cut down just didnt want to start buying more
stuff,im not even sure we will make the Worlds were going to go ahead and pay the reduced entry fee just in case we can make it.
I guess see what Glen comes up with and if we need to change we will.
Later Terry

I agree with Joe. I don't think these tires will be a huge advantage. Maybe we need to remove the no sharpening tires rule and let us all cut the tires. Let's face it that would be cheaper for all of us.

This is all we are going to do with this...... until after the worlds anyways..... run the tires anywhere as a clod or kyosho replacement 4WD box stock must run the tires that came with it so Pro Stock carpet is the only class that had a problem......we are hearing that you have to gear so low to run them in that class you will probably run out of time.
