Clodpool (Defiance Racing 2 link Clod chassis)

Well, I have been working on this for a while now as my new World's truck. Mike (Devastator2000) built me one of his Defiance Racing 2 link Clodbuster chassis. There is a lot of aluminum and a lot of work put into this thing, Mike did an awesome job! I went with Rumble tires, Acer Polyamide bearings, Castle 5700's with SV3 Sidewinders, Turnigy dual 1258TG servos, Tweaked Racing wideners, Pro-Line Powerstroke shocks, and topped it off with a Pro-Line 80's Chevy pickup body. I painted the body on the outside with Krylon paint for a satin black look, the pictures are printed out and X X X Main glued to the inside of the body. I accidentally put Blazer decals on the front fenders though lol, gone since pics. I am looking for someone who can do vinyl decals too, I would like some "Deadpoolism's" (thought bubbles with smart **** comments) and maybe some other things to top it off. Hope you like :)

Ah ha! There it is :) Nice to see you post it up Nick. Looks great all finished up. Don't forget to trim the bottoms of the body posts ;)

This chassis setup has been around for a few years but I really kept it under wraps as far as posting pics and info about it. I started letting the cat out of the bag last summer if I remember correctly.

Anybody who builds a chassis will feel that theirs is the best but I truly feel that as far as a racing design goes, this is the best there is for indoor carpet racing. It certainly has the durability to last just in how it's built but it races like a dream in every aspect.

Now I just need to see Nick race this monster and see how he does with it! If he beats me with it there may have to be a "factory recall" or something along those lines LOL!!!

So far, all I have is burst shots where I hit the gas and see if it goes straight in my garage lol. I will look through my videos and see if I have any of Mikes racing.

Here is one of my terrible videos. You can see his truck run a bit, the one I usually follow with the camera. The 2 link Clod runs like a Twin/Mad Force

Oh man, the good old days of Bradenville, PA racing!!!! I really miss those events. We had sooooo much fun at them. Nice to see there's a vid out there of one of those races from back then.

I have a ton of vids from every event I go to lol. If I could fit them all on a cd, i'd send you one. Problem is, my folder of rc events is 45 gigs...

They articulate just enough to qualify as articulating. So, yes, but very little. This setup was designed to be 100% racer. It can be a basher but it was intended for racing.

The heavy limitation in articulation was to remove the need for sway bars and with that design, it eliminates the need for top links as well. It is simple, easy to tune and very rugged.
