Okay!! the wife thinks I'm crazy now with that light on the truck, and I said to her....yes I am hahahaha. God man that light is so bright its hard and hurts your eyes if you're not careful. Makes you wonder why they dont put warning labels for these kind of lights on the package. You think they would just to protect themselves and their product.

Extremely Bright

This gives you an idea of just how bright this light bar is...

The picture below is a few hours outdated. After this picture was taken I did some molding with epoxy so the wire matches in with the body.
I'm still doing some minor touch ups at the moment.

Finally came up with the idea of ultilizing the scale gas can that I had on hand as my own version of a fuel cell to cover up the wiring from the light bar.

I wont say of where I orderd them from becoz that is my own little secret.
Nope not Towerhobbies either.

This KillerBeast is going to be even more eptic as I come up with even more ideas as the months go bye. I'm thinking this is going to take me all the way into next Spring.

Received these today in the mail and I'm just waiting for the roll bar to arrive from RC4WD and then I can fasten the fire extinguisher onto it.

Rc4wd roll bar arrived today

Finally the roll bar arrived today but noticed I need to drill holes to get it to fit down into place. I was a bit skeptical if it would fit into the existing holes or not on the body. With a little bit of

some persuasion I'll get it on. I did ask if RC4WD if they will fit onto the Clod body without any problems but they have no idea becoz they nevered tried.

Who knows I may have change of thought and strap it on the DinkyRC
Clod Tanneau Cover that I have.

That is beefier looking than the RC4WD pictures show. Very nice.
Thanks! I hate to think I gave you some idea's of your own wahahaha...

When I first pulled it out of the box and sat it on the bed I thought Oh No!!! it's too big and it's not going to fit into the existing roll bar mounts but I finally got it sat to where I wanna drill the holes. I'll just do some molding to cover up those existing holes. Putting a fire extinguisher on the angel bar is going to make this Clod pop even more. I came up with one idea in mind of making very small side window visers. Like you see on car and trucks to prevent rain getting in while the window is down. I seen Lon-Ranger has that at the top of the side windows.

I just love detailing...

Step By Step Installation

Okay!! the first step of the installlation of the rollbar was to put drops of lithium grease on the ends and then seat it into the right spot in the truck bed. Next step was to remove the rollbar and waalaa the grease sticks to the truck bed indicating of where to drill the holes.

pre drilled holes were made

Next step was to cut two black sleeves to keep the bar leveled and then turn the body on it's side and apply Tamiya blue lock tight and put the nuts on

Third step was to use a zip tie to hold the fire extinguisher while I apply 5 minute epoxy and wait for it to fully cure and then cut the zip tie off. I used this step twice

Now for some outside pictures.

I decided I'm going to hide that antenna pipe as I find it disrupts the scale look appearance.

Decision time. Mounted as the rollbar is it is the perfect height for a second lightbar. ;)
Very true it is the perfect height for another lightbar. But I'm also thinking of something else that could go on there.
One thing I dont want is wires comimg down from the bar of where it's going to be noticed.

Flag Holders!!

I made two additional flag holders yesterday. Held in place using the existing bolts on the light bar. This gives me the option of having three flags if I want.

Hmm how bout clear window so u can do a interior?
I did think about that clear window but nahh!! Most old school monster trucks had tinted windows. And besides I cant remove the window now as it locked in there with those handle hold grips which are epoxied in. Secondly I just finished putting a Western style swirl on the left window. Soon this killer beast will be a combination simular to Alan Tura Goliath with a second hemi in the bed. I even given some thought of placing removable race seats in the bed so I had the option of a ride truck. So many idea's just come flying into my head.

BTW I am working on my old red 25 year old Clod body. I'm stripping everything off of it and maybe I will put a interior in it. But I dont know becoz I'm thinking of using it as a flip top just like the original USA-1
