Ya need to make a little plate for the back of it right above the tow shackle so you cant see into the tub and see the wires. i did this on a couple of my trucks.

Whats wrong? dont you like the wires. LOL

I already thought of that and have done that with BIG,Bad&BouncyII Retro

Aside from that I was thinking of those long GearHead smoked Clod light covers but I dont think I will becoz the grill is already black. You can barely see that I have the regular stock Tamiya Clod lenses installed. So what would be the point in getting the smoked covered version when you can barely notice the stock Tamiya lense covers.

Gearhead light bar

I was so excited yesterday after the GearHead Light Bar showed up at the front door that I went ahead and tested it and then installed it.
I decided "NO" I'm not going to drill holes in the roof top for my own brackets as I dont like using the dremel if I can get away from using it.
The much safer yet easier method for me would be to use adhesive hook and loop to hold the light in place.

On a second note
I was totally blown away lastnight after picking up a fresh pack of Energizer AAA batteries at Walmart for the GearHead battery holder switch.
The LED lights bright up the whole room that's it's almost enough
to blind you.
My next step is to get these two items

with the option of functional wiper blades
instead of the Axial Wiperblades.

Police Strobe lights

I also have thoughts in my mind to get another CPE hemi for the bed

And maybe get another Clod Body with scale 110mm shocks or any other scale shock that would work better so I can flip top the body.

Now for the pictures.

I have to say that light bar works well on the Clod. Nice and low profile which is a change from all the stick up big round lights. I may have to pull the one off my Wraith and see what it looks like on my Clod. ;)

Glad you guys like it!
BTW "NO" plastic plate on the back chassis to hide the wires. I need to be able to turn the switch on and off for the lights. Besides who's going to see the wires back there? It's only me mainly that will see it. I came up with the idea of painting the wires with a Tire lettermate pen so it blends in with the color of the body. I still wanna conceal the wire better so it's less noticeable. I may end up making some side panels so the wire hides behind it.

I thought how neat it would be to have two of these lights stacked on top of each other just to make it even more brighter.

I was just looking at at my 1987 Petersens Off-Monsters magazine Spidubic and it appears that Samson one is the only one I can find that had the two. Godzilla did not have two back in 1987 for what I see.
Eagle had a set of two but it appears to be kind of behind the the front one.

When Godzilla wanted the record as the biggest/tallest monster truck it had the second set of rollbar lights added.
