seeing this thread made me want to paint mine. awesome so far, what color is the body gonna be?
Well I wont be using any other colors. The White factory body was sprayed with WindShelid Primer and then painted over again with ColorPlace White. Why? becoz I dislike that factory stock tinted white. I should have the 30 Chevy scale emblems and the KingKong 1/10th scale tow shackle with bracket sometime this week. Handle Hold Grips and BugSheild next week. Still have not decided of what decals I'm going to apply to the side doors.

Late last night I went ahead and printed off and applied some Sponsor decals today with a 25th Anniversary emblem with clear packing tape applied to protect them on the body.

Finally!! the towing shackle is now installed with metal Chevy 30 Silverado Emblems. I'll post one more outside photo once the BugShield and Handle Hold Grips arrive from CPE.

The truck looks amazing man. Lots of detail and you definitely nailed the old school 80s style. I'm liking the Imex duallies thrhy really set it off

Thanks Kenny:)

I feel this has been my biggest undertaking. Three and a half months of work really payed off. To turn this truck from this

Into this is simply amazing.

Thanks KingClod
it's been along time in coming to get this old brute reborn with a brand new body. As I recall I've been wanting to replace the speed controller way before I joined RCMT and that was it. But after seeing TamiyaTony Custom Clod earlier in the year I finally decided that I want to add more than what he has on his own. And I'm still not done yet. When ever RC4WD gets the (RC4WD) license plates back in stock I will order two of those. Plus I have plans to order in the Warn Winch decal sheet from RPPhobby.

It really has come along way from where it started...I sold my stock clod, starting to regret it lol...ima get another one this summer and work on it..this one and TamiyaTony's truck are my 2 favorite, no disrepect to anyone else that has made a stock beast..Im debating on using the Dullies or not, I really like them

Go For It!! You will notice a difference in size in comparison of the stock Clod tire.

Here's a prime example of that.

Also notice in the second photo that the left side of the Blue Clod is slightly lower than the right. So the tires do give it a little bit of a lift. Another good thing is these tires are made out of a softer compound.

A couple days ago I made my own flag holder using some Tinley Park plastic and a cap from a pen with metal mending tape. I went ahead and cut the cap in half on a angel and drilled a hole into the grey plastic that was already cut out and then wrap some metal tape around it to blend in with the bumper. And then pulled out the body reamer to make the hole bigger into the housing and then epoxy the red cap over the hole and then let dry and then epoxy the flat end on underneath the bumper. And walaa!! a homemde flag holder....

Great looking clod man. I really like all the details you put on it. Those tires are killer on it to.

Thanks Guys:) I dont normally add more pictures becoz I don't like bragging myself out. But being that I added this flag pole holder I figure I should share my idea with others. I think it could be a few months before I add anymore details to it. 40th Birthday is coming up soon in a few weeks and I'm trying to decide what to get for myself and what should come first. I'm thinking I'm leaning more to the GP than the WheelyKing. I always Think Big!! Think Truck!! besides I wanna stay ahead of my friend and his Traxxas Grave Digger and his sister Tamiya Hi-lift.

On a side note I took 49 shots of my Pride And Joy today!! practising up before July.
