He hasnt got the cases yet, pretty much he has to call and "remind" Paul at jps or basically he "forgets" they were only there 3 months or better thats just unexcusable and terrible service considering how much he wants for his stuff.
No videos I have been trying to get him to get some but he hardly drives hes busy with his new 4x4 pede and pretty busy at work. Even gonna let him use my go-pro just to get some vids lol

Hi all... man I need to check back here once in a while..

I have not gotten the JPS cases back yet but I should soon.. need to keep on Paul about that.

I am using the stock pinions (13T?) and stock nylon counter rotating gears but with MIP ball diffs...

I can try and shoot some video footage this weekend or something.. if the weather plays nice... I like how this truck came out but the only think I don't like is the steering radius... which is not great, but some of that seems to be related to the grassy bumpy terrain I was driving on.. when the front wheels are making good contact with the ground it's turning better... but I am going to experiment with a servo saver extender or something.. using a Kimborough saver also.. right now I have an ofna but they get loose very easily. :(

Anyways, I'll try and get some footage on video soon... thanks for the kind words also.. it does look nice and I hope to get use out of it this spring / summer..

video.. finally. bad video, but it's better than no video.. in the wind and cold no less... wanted to get one drive in before the next 3 storms roll in. :p again, I am filming while driving with a Sanyo Xacti velcro'd to my TX... I forgot I was filming about 1/2 through.. *sigh*

I like how the truck drives.. it's powerful and handled pretty well but had some traction issues.. it's a lot bouncier than my pede (which I drive mostly these days) but it's size commands more road respect for sure.. it just charges through stuff and doesn't complain much... I did some driving in the grass after I stopped shooting. my radio antenna is wrapped around the frame and I was having pretty obvious reception issues... I think it might finally be time to ditch these FM JRs and go 2.4ghz.. or at least start with the 2.4 on this truck and migrate it into the rest of them.. but in the short term using an antenna tube and some kind of mount might be necessary..

Nice build. On the 2.4ghz, man its the best thing I ever did. And I went the cheapo route with the Flysky GT3B. No more long antennas or wires, glitching, nothing just a true clear signal. I'd invest in one soon dont want to see that truck head off into the willies wide open. :wnk

yeah I am for sure going to go 2.4... once out tax $ comes back I have a few upgrades in mind.. those imex tires were so bad... going to get some big joe's or something.. I'll try and shoot some better video once the next storms roll through and things dry out again..
