Found this on ebay. A ad for a tamiya clod buster quick run. Any other info on it?

It's a 2wd 1/14th toy version of the Clod. No real point in getting one unless you're a collector or building something from scratch.

It looks an awful lot like my Radio Shack Hot machine, but the hot machine is 4x4

If I remember correctly, they are basically a Blackfoot chassis with a mini Clod shell on. Intended for easy setup and play, not serious hobby performance

-segajeep, you are exactly right, it is, & RS did have the "Sonic Thunder", a 2wd Hot Machine, which is what the Clodbuster QD is.

The first and only time I've seen one in person was in Germany and I said to myself "Hey, It's a Hot Machine with a chevy body" speaking of my then new Hot Machine. This was in my pre Clod years. I knew what they were but I hadn't ditched the $700 buxx.
