Clod Buster body Restoration

Thanks Guys!!
I did a little detailing on the tailgate this morning with a little more touching up to do with the tail lights.. I'm thinking of another ClodBuster visor and CPE ClodBuster Hand Grab Hold Set on a later date. Right now I'm waiting on the clear ClodBuster lexan windshield and the generic decal sheet from RC4WD. It be really nice if ESP had a tubular bumper that attaches to the tailgate.

More detailing is yet to come and I wanna go over the silver lining again on the bottom left corner on the front window trim. Different ideas are springing into my mind unlike the last body I did.

Some progress was made today with some vintage Clod Buster decals. The tailgate is mock up on the body.
Hope everyone likes it so far.

Today I spent some time putting the rest of decals on with chrome pen stripping on the tailgate. I decided to save myself a bit of money by borrowing some Clod chrome Parts from the metal edition body.
Too bad the weather is not nice today I would of taken some outdoor pictures.

Outdoor shots today!!

It's sunny today but cold. But even at that it did not Stop me from taking these nice pictures.
Still wanna do more detailing to the body with a Fire Extinguisher attached to the rollbar.
I even went ahead and darken the front middle section of the grill.

It is even darker outside. I like. Kind of a combo of original Clodbuster and Taurus.
My thoughts exactly!! Still waiting on the clear lexan ClodBuster Windshield from RC4WD. From there I will decide if I still wanna put it in or put the tinted Windshield in from the Chrome Clod Body. Have not really decided but I just may end up putting diamond plate in the bed by using the bedliner from the Clod 25th as a template so I can trace out the exact size before cutting.

Diamond plate in bed for sure! Not sold on the Clod with clear windows. So use to seeing it tinted.

That's why I will be putting them side by side with each other to reach my final decision.
But I think it will help to see the ESC light.

Pick up these today and when the lady brought out the box at the post office I thought what the heck!! why such a big box?
By the time I got home with the box I had a big chuckle over it.:emot15:

Then I opened the box and pulled all the paper out and step on the box like a mad man outside and then I went to town in cutting the collar off the windshield and removed the protective plastic film and fastened in the window and applied some decals.
I must say that I'm very please with the windshield. I thought about installing a dash board while looking at one at rc4wd with seats. But which one would fit this body with out any headaches?

Thanks! I may pick up another Gearhead ClodBuster visor in the months ahead. But right now I gotta wait for two items from amainhobbies and plastic diamond plate that I picked up off of ebay.
