looks good man..

i wish i could find a original clod grill with the bowtie... mine was circa 1999 so its blank along with the tailgate
Thank you Olds Rocketman. I picked up all my bodies up from ebay, some have the bowtie, some don't.

I decided to empty an already almost empty ratttle can of tan on the body, I need to see a clearer picture of where I need to do bodywork.

-I think it looks great, it just needs the "detail tuning", here & there, the hardest part of the build is done:tmb
-It's odd to me that in full-scale, the first thought to mind, (with all of the trail-truck body choices), "suburban", isn't at the top of the list, but in RC 1/10, it is---I think you have something to do with that:drool

Thank you SavedONE, Im getting there slowly. I would say you are right on that, I don't think Burbs make great rock crawlers in the real world, I think its just the "cool" factor in the RC world, because there are so few of them.

Great work
Thank you :)

Nice build will be watching this one
Thank you Dominick, I hope I can keep you interested in it.

Thanks JEFFDUDE, and thats a nice lookin Burb you have, thanks for showing.

You are very talented working with those bodies:tmb, those back doors look fantastic. If they will be functional like it looks thats even cooler.

looks really cool Jeff! You might be able to make them fuctional by putting like a grub screw through the bottom of the bumper and make that your pivot point. just a thought.

and ya know, Burbs aren't the greatest trail machines in the sence that they are so long and heavy. they make for decent mud trucks and recovery trucks. i've seen a couple rock crawlers that were Burban based but they were doved and all kinds of body modded! I've always wanted an 80's Burban and put a early 70's chevy front clip on it. There's one running around my town thats got a 454 in it, 9" of lift and 44" ground hawgs. I call it hte murder machiene cause its all primered black with black rims and blacked out windows and tail lights. its just a bad truck. so its been an inspiration to own something like it

-it'd be kinda cool to paint & decal it just like a stock clod, then change the name to Crop Duster, (which would work, as the phrase "Clod Buster", actually refers to a farming impliment---sorta like how the Chevy P/U & Suburban are very similar), work with me on this one, it's early in the morning-LOL:willy

Thank you Boss. I think I have it figured out. I just need to sit down and finish the doors, but I kinda got burnt out for a bit.

Yeah, I know, its no great rock crawler, this is more of a challenge to myslf to make something that there is not very many of in the RC world.

But I have always liked the Big Bad Burbans when they are all built up.

You need some sleep :laugh. Although, its an entertaining idea, because I love John Deere stuff. :)
