Chassis - keep stock wb?

when i got the cpe truck, it had about a 14-16" wheelbase, with the articulation to go with it. to run a stock wheelbase, the links are only 4" or so. too much binding. i'm not looking for a "here's my truck with one tire on a beer can" look, but the stock wheelbase just doesn't work with the cpe chassis.

in my not so humble opinion, a clod needs a short wheelbase to look like a monster truck. way stretched out with a long body kills the monster truck proportions.

even the bone stock clod's WB to me needs to be another 2-3" to look right to remove the toy look of it.

The stock proportions are not toyish, but exact. Keep in mind that the Clod was modeled after the 80's era monster trucks, not the current crop of Monster Jam style trucks.
