Yes it is a older chassis, 2000's i believe, so there has been a LOT of improvements as far as chassis design and strength

i had one with the shorter styled cantilevers.
it was a fun rig, by like stated earleir, its a dated design.
but heck, so is the clod and a lot of other cool chassis, like the sassy.

If your gonna use it for a basher, then it really doesn't matter that it's dated. I never had one, but from what I always heard about them, they were built very good. But I think that with the longer cantilevers, it is a newer design. Should be a fun truck.

what would be the best way to make it a little stiffer so it doesnt flex so much? i'm thinkin bout puttin faster motors on it and i think it will really twist when taking off. any help would be great:tmb

Looks like you dont have the swaybars on yours...check the jps website for how the swaybars mount...if you can't find any, I can snap a pic of mine for u...the stock bars are soft, but u can just tune with different diameters of music wire...

get rid of the cantilever.
direct mount the shocks, solved the twisting problem for me when i went to brushless

no real good place on that chassis to ditch the cantilever though...the rails are too short to reach the shock mounting points...

i was planning on trying a new setup for my chassis after our finals...i was gonna use the jps axles with another chassis...the cantilevers make it a bit harder to control when on brushless power...
