I finnaly purchased a CC-01 Chassis well a brand new touareg in the box from the local hobby store. It is a very easy kit to build but when I came to the rear axle I noticed it was a dull and kind of rough finish it seems there is not and type of chrome or zinc finish to it like all the other axels I have seen in the tamiya kits. Is this normal for these or did I just get a bad one?
I did lube the axle shafts up with the ceramic grease hoping to keep it from rusting and oxidizing.
I also locked the rear diff and boy does this truck seem like it is going to be fun to do some scale crawling and bashing around.
