couple questions I am into finishing up the wiring on my WK and had a few questions again.

i have:

castle 4600kv motor
castle SV2 ESC
X2 of cpe's 220-OZ steering servo's
Castle BEC 10A 6S Switching Regulator

I got the bec to elimiante the battery needed for the RX and servo's but upon reading the ESC manual it states the RX can be powered off the ESC at 5V

is there any advantage for me to even use the bec and is it needed still or no?

if not it is just extra weight and wire I will just sell it if I dont need it and there is no benefit.

my next question is the correct wiring harness orientation for the tactic TR624 recoiever it state or give and example if the signal should be closest to the edge of the RX or if the ground should be and I dont want to go hacking wire and making them too short becuase I got the harness's installed backwards.

while I got the post already do I need a bec pro for my clod?

it has:

X2 SV2 ESC's
X2 castle 4600kv motor's
X2 CPE 220-OZ servo's
Castle BEC pro 20-amp

would the BEC have any advantage in this setup or would I just be better off selling it?

both trucks will be running the 2S 5000mah lipo's 40C +10 burst if that matters any.

you wont need the BEC...you'll need it when using high amp draw or high voltage servos...the analog servos dont usually require an external BEC, and the CPE ones you have dont require one...i use an external BEC in my crawler, but that has a high torque servo...my other trucks with digital high speed/torque servos also dont use a external BEC...i just run a capacitor wired into the receiver to protect it from any high draw situations...works flawless for me...

also- on the mamba monster and mamba max pro esc- you can adjust the bec voltage with the castle link software...i'd assume the sv2 would allow you to do the same...

i'm not familiar with your receiver, but most receivers are setup do the ground (negative) is at the edge of the case...

no- your clod doesnt need a BEC pro with the setup it has now...i run a high voltage savox servo in my 9.5lb truck, and just have the bec voltage upped to 7.0v and a 4600uf capacitor to kill the glitching on it...

all that being said- if you decide to sell yor BEC's let me know what you'd be asking for them...i might be interested...

i had two of the cpe servos with my castle esc before...i didnt have to run a capacitor either...no problems for me...hopefully it works out for northergames as well...
