Well; I just couldnt help myself!! It's late at night when i took the pics; I am on pain meds for my nerve issues; so please forgive my lousy pics.

Uploaded them into my gallery this morning and when i got home from work i get a message from Wild Bill the Retired :laugh

Jerry,
When, and what are the details on your capatains curse?

how does the rollbar mount, does it look good or out of proportion in person

Does it make you feel are warm and fuzzy inside :laugh

So far I just unwrapped it. Been looking at this since i saw it on preorders. I was looking at Amainhobbies; Ebay and Tower. Well Tower had a "limited quantity" stock status so I jumped on it; complete with $40 off :tmb

Its still stock but will have bearings and turnbuckles in the near future.I like the fact they finally upgraded the axle carriers to 5x11mm bushings/bearings. I don't have any plans to upgrade the electronics as of yet; but ya never know with me. The body actually looks good; Not out of proportion at all for the Stampede. It uses the same body mount system as the Grave Digger and Monster Mutt. The roll bar is secured with the rear body mounts on the bed and a couple body clips hold the top bars to the top of the cab. I like the realism of this as opposed to just having the flat box section with no bars at all. The only gripe i have with the Monster Jam trucks are the tires. While I have not driven the truck at all; I would like to see them maybe a little wider. But looking at the truck from a distance the model looks quite aggressive.

Looks great ! How about a set of RC4WD Rumble tires ? I bet they would look sweet on that truck.

your pede doesn't have proline protrac front arms so the front/rear offsets would be wrong :tong I swapped that all out on my Max D.

Looks really cool, and thanks for the info. :tmb I have to get one of these, a Willis body, I mean duh it's a must have.

I love the Willys body:drool; they have been a favorite of mine from my static model building years!

The Protrac suspension arms aren't the only thing you can use to change up the front/rear track hehehehe:wnk

I have done this to mostly all of my 'pede's so I can use the same wheel/tire combo on all 4 corners, and am most likely going to change this truck too when i start tearing it down:)

i would love for a company to come out with a proper sized MT wheel and tire combo....i love the look of the truck but the wheels and tires kill it. if it had some rumbles and will's trick to even it out i think it would be the best looking clod-o-pede you could get. the details on the body are fantastic.

i wonder what other trucks they will be coming out with next? and maybe when that capt's curse comes out ill pick one up and stick it on a wheely king...:)
