The snow will be melting soon enough and by then you'll have a whole bunch of trucks ready
Yah I know. But I feel like the kid who got the really cool RC truck for Christmas, with no batteries to try it out :bang :bang . However, there will be two maybe three trucks ready to terrorize the neighbourhood pets by then.......

Managed to get my hands on some lead stick on wheel weights.

So I guess my next question is. Do I go with rotational weight on the wheels, or axle weight. I have ample room both ways, just not sure which is best?

i heard axle wieght was better because wheel weight can make ure tires feel all unbalanced. the stuffing the knuckle idea looked best.

I would go with axle wieght too and see how it works. It seems like wheel weight (spinng weight) would put undue stress on your stub axles...

I did alot of searching and reading tonight, looks like axle weight is going to be the best. I thought that stuffing the hubs was a good idea, but the more I think about it I'm not sure. Wouldn't it put alot of added stress on the axle tubes, they're vulnerable as it is. And besides, I just got my GPM knuckles from kevin107 today and that means "UPGRADE TIME" :willy :willy :willy . Looks like the Spider Stabile MAXX and Losi Claws are Are finding a new ride.

There is no advantage then. If you can't think of one, being our resident mechanical engineering expert, there isn't one!
